WHAT’S NEW?

A new discussion group focusing on medals and plaques has been created on Whatsapp, probably the most used communication platform at the moment

The group is intended for anyone who is not only actively interested in medals, but also just likes to see nice and interesting pieces, antiques and novelties, learn what’s interesting or needs advice on medals and plaques from helpful and knowledgeable members
– 20.11.2024: The group has already 78 people since its creation on 7.10.2024 who added 560 posts, 228 pictures and 4 videos. Thank you!

-> Whatsapp needs to be installed on your mobile phone first under your number, but then you can also use it on your computer in a convenient program or web browser.
-> Notifications for new posts can also be easily turned off and viewed when you are on Whatsapp again and have the desire and time.

-> You can only see posts after you’ve joined, not older posts made before.

Medailérsky klub and Spoločnosť Andreja Hlinku (Andrej Hlinka Society) present:

Commemorative medal for the 160th anniversary of the birth of Msgr. Andrej Hlinka (1864) and 30th anniversary of the Andrej Hlinka Order (1994).

The medal was created by the academic sculptor Marián Polonský out of respect to Andrej Hlinka. The portrait of the medal is based on the Andrej Hlinka Order for Extraordinary Merits for the Establishment of the Independent Slovak Republic, the author of which is Ladislav Čisárik, and the portrait has been made by Marián Polonský.

-> (9.9.2024) Medailérsky klub attended for the first time the fair Collector, Prague, 6.-7.9.2024.
It brought a lot of interesting and constructive meetings and people interested in our medal making. Thank you!
